I always wondered how people who were left behind by someone they loved could never seem to love again. Is it really that hard?

I know the pain isn't easy. But does it have to be constant? Does it really ache in every part of you and leave you broken? Because for the longest time, I believed it was a choice. I thought we could move on if we truly wanted to.

That's what I believed, until fate proved me wrong.

I was never meant to understand it before. I only saw it happen to other people in movies, and in real life. But when I met him, everything changed. I finally understood. Grief like that is a language you only learn through experience.

It's falling in love with something you believed was rare and pure, only to watch it vanish into thin air.
