The year 1175. Amid the fertile, green meadows of the Poland Kingdom, nestled in the heart of wild mountains, a tragedy unfolds - one that shatters the once carefree and peaceful life of Mal and her family. Forced to abandon the safety of their homeland, they set out on a journey toward the sunlit Jerusalem; a haven for all the fearful and weary. There, among the ruddy sands of the desert, a single act - plucking of a solitary wheat stalk - leads the young girl into a perilous world of intrigue, war, and secrets she had never imagined existed. A world ruled over by a sick, teenage boy.

His gaze burned into mine, and I sensed the struggle within him to maintain control. His eyes, like dark pools, drew me in, and I felt myself drowning in their depths. My breath caught as his gaze lingered on my face, and I knew he was fighting the urge to reach for me. My own desire rose to meet his, and for a moment, we simply stood there, our hearts pounding in unison. Then, with a visible effort, he tore his eyes away, his voice low and husky as he spoke. "We should go inside." The words were a thin veil over the raw passion that threatened to consume us both. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized how close we were to surrendering to our desires.
