Oliver Smith, a twelve-year-old boy, is the kindest person anyone could ever meet. He has a huge heart, one that he wears on his sleeve, and no matter how cruel this new world gets, he's determined to be a light in the midst of darkness.
Even when life gets hard and bad things happen and the people he loves die, he tries to hold onto that kindness, to find reasons to keep going, all while not letting any of it shake his Catholic faith.
