After years of abuse from her dad, Lynn Newcomb and her mother move to Bridgeton, a town in Pennsylvania. It's a new start for Lynn, well it's supposed to be. New friends, new house, and the opportunity to start a business in the things she loves most. Her myotonic goats.
The only thing is that information about her past reaches Bridgeton High, her new school, and she is now known as the goat girl. Lynn can't help but feel defeated as she falls further and further down the road to becoming an outcast.
Little did she know that her four little trouble makers; Katniss, Zanzibar Snickerdoodle, Isaiah, and Lukie, would show her how to trust again. They guide her in the path of Matthew Pierce, an 18 year old who has a well known reputation for being a bad boy. But when their paths collide the two form a bond that may take things to a whole new level.
