This is a world where everyone's mind is incomplete until they meet their other half, who completes them. But most people don't meet their other half as babies, or grow up never knowing what it's like not to have another person in your head. Adrien and Marinette are unique on that front... and their number of pair abilities is also unique. Their parents make hard decisions to keep them safe, but when home starts falling apart, Adrien and Marinette may have to step up and learn what it really means to belong to each other when the going isn't quite so easy. *I'm using some ideas from my original novel (so I don't have to work so hard on the worldbuilding front).* Published on AO3 as "Lonely Minds" by Minythil. Cover image made by the author (I do not claim to be an artist, but at least it's not AI this time).

You all know Marinette has secrets, she's ladybug for goodness sake! But what if there was more to her story then just being the spotted heroine. What if there were things hiding 'under the surface' both mentally and physically? And what if Adrien were the first to catch on?
