Last Caller

Alicia Venner hadn't spoken to anyone in her family for almost 20 years, having been completely written off after she had chosen to marry someone of her choosing, her former bodyguard, Kalman "Kal" Venner. They had managed to build a life together and created a beautiful family with their own children, with their two oldest already at university, their third already finishing school, and their youngest children already learning to find themselves. The last thing Alicia had ever expected was to get a mysterious phone call from an unknown number, with someone gasping out her name, then hanging up, then the next morning to getting a phone call from her younger sister, Eleanor, telling her that her husband was found dead and asking her to come home and help her. Upon agreeing, she reunites with her sister and soon both are bombarded by phone calls, all with one thing in common, there is no ID. The caller is either breathing hard or mimicking the last call she had received the night before Andrew Woodford had been found murdered. As they uncover more about Andrew it becomes obvious that her past with him was not at rest, and he had a lot to hide and that was what got him killed. And now the killer has her, and her sister in their sight...
