Blood and Grace

Francesca Dawson, a 19 year old woman, believed that she was one of the few lucky people who wouldn't get to experience the pain of marriage.
She thought that she could live off of doing the laundry, dishes as well as taking care of her father, Harold, and even healing some wounds on the villagers by the help of her ability.
And since she was considered as "poor" she thought that no one would notice her enough to wanna marry her.

But no.

One day, when she was going back home from doing the laundry, she found her father in the living room, together with a guard.
The guard nodded towards her and her father before leaving.

Then, Francesca's father explained that the dukes mother, Lady Vivianne Montague, had come to a conclusion.

That Francesca Dawson, and the duke, Christopher Montague, should marry.
