This takes place between Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Knuckles (who is struggling to adjust to his new life and home on Earth) takes deputy sheriff Wade Whipple in as his "apprentice", training him in the ways of the Echidna warrior to help him prepare for a bowling tournament in Reno, Nevada where his estranged father will be competing. Y/n joins him so they don't get into trouble. Deep inside she wants to be a warrior as well and she notices Soni has been doing all the hard work and wants to do something about it. Along the way, she learns a little more about herself, but she still struggles with self-doubt. Still holding onto all the pain and loneliness. She never realizes that until staying at Wade's mother's house and witnessing how the siblings act. Knuckle not only helps Wade, but helps her too.
