A group of childhood friends spend a summer together after the shocking news that one of the members of the group, Summer, killed herself. Alexa, Daniel, Jamie, and the twins, Tiffany and Stephanie are the ones left. Together, they do their best to try getting over their friend, while also trying to figure out what her motives were. Faced by romantic conflicts and family issues, their lives suddenly become more complicated than they were prepared for.
