Two girls in the same city in Japan have bought this and the best selling game for this gear, Gun Art Era. The Game Lord entered the world and announced something that was depressing for the players. Now it's up to those two girls to fight all the way to Level 100 to beat the boss level — the Game Lord.

In the distant future of 20XX, a specialized headgear called the "Nerve Gear" is released to the public, designed to immerse the user in hundreds of Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (VRMMORPG) using their five senses. One in particular stood out from its peers, an upcoming game called "Sword Art Online" that attracted the attention of millions; yet, only 10,000 copies have been sold. What looks to be a wonderful world spawned from the genius mind of Kayaba Akihiko, the creator of the Nerve Gear, however soon turns out to be an elaborate ruse since on the first day of public access, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. However, if they die in the game, they die in real life. Their struggle for survival starts now. (SAO x Male Reader) (Published August 9, 2024)
