After The Events Of "Trolls World Tour", With The Trolls All United In Harmony, Poppy Decides To Welcome In All The Trolls To Live In A New City, Known As "Trollstopia". But The Trolls Still Have Their Differences With How Each Other Tribe Lives. Desperate To Have Every Troll Feel Comfortable, Poppy Creates Her Own New Instrument To Hopefully Lift Their Spirits. Until Suddenly, Her New Instrument Glitches Out Of Control, Causing The Trolls To Get Zapped Into Mismatched Bodies Of Each Other's Different Troll Tribe Form, Resulting In Madness & Chaos Everywhere. In Order To Reverse The Transformations, Poppy, Branch, & Their Friends Must Use A Time Machine, From A Unexpected Visitor, To Go Back In Time And Retrieve Each Tribe's String From The Past To Reverse Each Other Back Before Their Swapped Forms Become Permanent. To Make Matters Worse Than Already Is, There Might Be Someone Else Out There Conspiring To Steal The Strings Back For Themself.
