Cringe aside, I hope you like the story!!

This is my first ever story so it's obviously not the best in writing! If you feel like some parts are cringe or don't make sense then you're Welcome to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and tell me my mistakes in a POLITE wayz, I don't want this story to just be all angsty, I want to explore the world of writing and build a genuine wholesome and fun story for everybody, so please keep that in mind before you read this. If you feel like the story is drifting from it's original idea then that's very unintentional. Hope you like it!!
Oh also, the mature tag is for violence and stuff like that. Not for freaky, so don't get your hopes up weirdo!!

Ever since the unfortunate death of his sister, Maria. that occured whilst they were evacuting to another village in fear of getting taken away as hostages. Lancelot has been having disturbing nightmares of that day, he'd wake up in the middle of the night just to cry and blame himself for her demise. If he had just stopped the soldiers in the right time. Maybe she would've still been alive. It's gotten especially bad now that he's engaged to the soon-to-be king. Arthur/sonic, but at least Arthur was there for him.. He could cry in his arms while being comforted. Soon enough, Those dreams have gotten dull and less disturbing. He'd become numb to it.. But now his dreams found another disturbing way to torture him. One can only hope they stay as dreams. And not reality. He can't lose another person he cares about..

Break downs and getting back up stronger, a hedgehog who's heart had turned dark from the unfortunate events that occured in his life learns to better himself by the day, with the help of the people around him, He can return to the light.

Will the painful memories ever leave him? Will his cold heart ever melt and welcome the one who cares for him more than anything? Will he ever forgive himself?
