Everyone knows the story of Mr. Brown. He was a nice old man in the year 1923. But one day, his doorbell rang. He opened it, expecting mail or someone to greet (he always was exceptionally nice to the people he met). But he turned the doorknob and swung it wide, and was never heard from again. One day, people start seeing and hearing... Mr. Brown. In stores, movie theaters, walking down the sidewalk; everywhere. So 20-year-old Catherine Murphy decides that - while on her college summer break - she will solve the mystery of Mr. Brown. Where he went, who took him, and most importantly... why he's showing up again...

What are you doing?" He looked at me with cool, indifferent eyes. "Dropping you off... what else?" "In front of my house? What if someone sees?" "Who in our school lives on this street? Or in this area?" "I- I don't know..." I stuttered. "Exactly." "People still talk and you never know who might see us." "The windows are tinted." I stared at him. "Like I said before, barely." "Well, since you're so worried, why don't you step outta my car then?" He faced the steering wheel. ***
