Amethyst Jones has a baby sister named Iris Jones. "Amy" takes care of her sister as best she can, just like a mother would, in the household she is forced to live in. The twist? Her father, or the person she is led to believe is her father, seriously abuses her, mentally and physically. On her seventeenth birthday, she gets another twist. After she lost her one true love something changed inside of her and whatever changed inside of her changed her because she is no long the sweet, loving, caring and spontaneous child she once was.
