"may I just say...I think your eyes are pretty in the sun" I heard his voice behind slowly coming up behind me but I soon quickly moved away.
"it's nothing special..." I said turning around but yet he was still so close... he gently and softly brought a hand to my waist rubbing it with his thumb as the other reached up to cup my cheek.I flinched a bit at his touch but soon warmed to it as I nuzzled my head into his palm looking up at him with haft lidded eyes.

I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?"
