In this story, Pepper and Tony Stark are both in their mid-40s and have two children, Morgan (15) and Harley (17). Rhodey is their godfather and Happy is their "uncle". The avengers are all "aunts and uncles". What happens when one day the dynamics change due to 2 pink lines?
Civil war happened but no long standing drama amongst the team. End game happened but captain marvel snapped. Things have settled so the avengers aren't needed as much as before. Tony is still iron man but that isn't a priority like in the past. His focus is his wife and kids as well as S.I.

The Stark Trap
Sixteen Years Ago, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts had twin girls, Andrea Marie and Melissa Jane. Not long after the twins' birth, Tony and Pepper separated. Unable to be around each other, they decided that the best thing to do would be for them to each raise one of the twins. The twins grow up on different sides of the country, completely unaware of the other. One day while on a class trip in New York, Melissa and Andrea run into each other. They end up hatching a plan to get their parents back together: Switch places, find out why they separated, find a way to get Pepper back to New York, and get them to fall in love again. Mercedes Stark was the only daughter of Tony Stark. She was very unplanned, and he had her when he was rather young, but he didn't really have to raise her. He had many nannies and such to care for her, but that didn't make the girl care for her father any less. Like her father, Mercedes was rather smart, meaning she could do practically anything with ease. Mercedes graduated college at the age of eighteen, becoming one of the world's youngest doctors. She was actually a certified surgeon, but she also had degrees in other fields to do with computers, medicine, robotics, and things like that. As soon as she had graduated, she was able to get a job as a doctor for S.H.I.E.L.D. Her father didn't know about her job, but he knew she was working as a doctor somewhere. Mercedes kept quite a bit from her father, one thing being her boyfriend. He didn't know of the man his daughter was in love with. He didn't know that the man was almost eight years older than his daughter. He didn't know that the man was an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. What will happen? Will Tony, despite his love for Pepper, forgive her for keeping such important news from him as a pregnancy? How will Peter react when Tony and Pepper tell him the truth?
