Vivienne Monroe never thought she would find herself back in Forks.

After leaving her husband and taking her two-year-old son, Harlow, with her, she returns to the small town she grew up in. Her grandmother's old cabin gives her somewhere to stay, and with a new job and old friends welcoming her back, Vivienne starts trying to build a life of her own.

For the first time in years, things feel peaceful.

Then she meets Carlisle Cullen.

He's kind, reserved, and unlike anyone she's ever met. And the more Vivienne gets to know him, the more she begins to realize that there's something strange about the Cullen family.

Vivienne came to Forks looking for a fresh start.

But she hadn't quite expected to find a future there too.
