"You watching me that whole game, Bennett?" Tessa asked, tossing her helmet back into her back.

Drew raised an eyebrow. "Please. You think I have time to watch junior-level throwdowns?"

"Right" she said, brushing past him, "Like you weren't leaning on the fence every time the ball left my hand."

"What can I say, I like watching people try hard," He replied, grinning.

She glanced over her shoulder. "Funny, I thought your type was more cheeleaders...no thoughts just bows."

"That was last season, I'm evolving," His smile falling flat, taking a step towards her.

Tessa chuckled. "So watching me is evolution?"

He smirked. "Well you do look good under stadium lights."

Tessa turned toward him, face deadpanned, "Drew Bennett are you flirting with me?"

Drew leaned in, too close to be innocent, "Wouldn't dream of it Tessalyn Cole."

"Good," she says, flashing a cheeky grin, "You'd have to try harder than that,"

Tessa and Drew have been rivals since they went to the same school. Both starting varsity as a freshman, one a second year captain as a senior, the other a first year captain as a junior. When the two have to work together to plan fundraisers and schedule lifts, the tension grows. When mistakes happen, on and off the field, the two have to figure who they want to be.
