Natalie Easton didn't want anyone to see, to really perceive her. Her parents seemed to be saints to those they met, adding to their children's reputations. Two of the daughters were already off in college, studying business and law. Then Nat was the standout child, the prodigy, but always seemed to prioritize her dreams over academic achievements. The youngest and only boy of the family was a football star from a young age. The Easton's were a picture perfect family and what any family in Wellsbury would aspire to have. Even at school, Natalie nodded along to what everyone said about her seemingly perfect life. She got through, she had a routine and some strategies. Then what happens when her best friend ropes her into a poetry class? Natalie quickly found out poetry is nothing like songwriting, but doesn't immediately drop the class. And it's certainly not because of Mr. Kay as the instructor or even having Ginny in class with her, but the persistent boy that sits across the rooms and asks to get boba everyday after class. Nat never would've seen Wolfe coming, but he may be everything she needed all along.
