You just got started on your summer break when your sister, Robin, tells you that she just scored a spot at an elite summer camp and she's going to accept, though she already just got hired on a job at the Starcourt Mall, serving ice cream at some new shop. She manages to convince you to take her job, knowing that you had been looking for one too. You go in on your first day, dressed in the stupid sailor uniform, when you stop dead in your tracks to see that your coworker is none other than Steve Harrington, the newly graduated 'King' of Hawkins High, who used to bully you up until he started dating Nancy. You realize you'll be stuck with him the rest of the summer (Throughout the events of Season 3 but you're essentially in place of Robin).

Moving into the small town of Hawkins during her sophomore year of high school wasn't a treat, but she didn't let it ruin her spirits too much. In fact, she even made some new friends along the way. Granted, most of them were in middle school and were major nerds, but that didn't bother her. She even joined in on some of their DnD campaigns whenever they invited her. It was fun, that was until one of the kids, Will, went missing. Along the way to finding him, (Y/N) befriends some people from her own school, including the goody-two-shoes Nancy Wheeler, and her boyfriend, Steve "The Hair" Harrington. She never really understood why everyone was obsessed with Steve. Or was everyone obsessed with his hair? She never knew. He could be a real asshole sometimes, too. But for whatever reason, she finds herself becoming closer with him the more they hang out.
