Glenn Winnow had only known pain since as long as she could remember, no family, no friends, just experiments. And when those experiments failed, she was cut off from the rest of the world until she was found and taken in by Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff. She had finally had a home, a family, and a purpose for what she felt was a curse. However, when the world seems doomed, and she loses not only Nat but also Steve by the time they came out the other side of the war, she is hopeless again.
All that she had left was Bucky Barnes, who swore to care for her after Steve left. However, the world is in shambles, and so is Glenn. She finds no purpose in life until Bucky sends her on a mission to take in five of Valentina Allegra Fontaines agents, a simple mission before she ends her hero career forever.
But the mission becomes much longer than anticipated, and she finds in it the possibility for another family. Their threat is perfectly catered to Glenn's powers, and she's likely the only one who can save them, the city, and the world.

It's been almost two years since the defeat of Thanos & the effects of the snap was successfully reversed. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights. Though he had only known her a few days, during the battle with Loki, he found that she had completely entranced him. Ana didn't know who she was before Clint had found her and saved her. She idolised him, and followed in his footsteps, becoming an agent of SHIELD. Her life takes a complete turn, when she finds herself taken after the battle. ***** When he had returned to Midgard, Earth a few years later, with a reformed Loki, he finds that she had been missing and presumed dead almost as long as he had been gone. When the Avengers hit a Hydra base, to get back the scepter, they come across a room, where someone is bound, from the ceiling. Rescuing the fraile figure, they return to the jet victorious, only to find their rescue, is none other than Ana. She was barely conscious, and from clear signs, she was not there willingly. Taking her back to the tower, they try to help her, only to find that she has no memory of them, and now holding her own power. Thor wants nothing more than to destroy every single person who had hurt her, his need to protect her burning within him. The only comfort she finds is in his brother and the metal armed soldier, needing them both to protect her. ***** Being in a new place, surrounded by so many people, she felt overwhelmed, terrified that they would hurt her like the others. Alex Cross is a mutated experiment and was supposed to be Canada's answer to Captain America, or at least that's what her POS father was promised when he sold her for 200,000. But it was a lie, and Alex became Shadow, a mutant with the ability to trap people, not in life but in their mind among a couple other unique challenges. When she spots someone interesting and follows him, she finds John Walker, a disgraced and also replacement Captain America. She decides to spare him, telling him her life story and seeing if maybe she can change his mind. For the fake Hydra that kept her for 20 years in the Siberian wilderness isn't quite dead, she missed one, and he's on a rampage.
