"Nothing. Nothing." She echoes, laughing bitterly. "You call cheating nothing."
"I'm not cheating!" he pushes Autumn away, not roughly, but enough for her to react.
She looks at him with hurt, anger, pain, and everything combined. She instantly sides next to me, her fists clenched at her sides and eyes watering.
My heart pounds in my chest as I stand next to her protectively. I will do anything for her, even if it means leaving this place to drop her off right now.
She looks away, tears threatening to fall. "We're over, Asher. Don't come back crying."
