The elections has come, everyone started placing their votes into ballot boxes, until someone unexpected won the election. His name was Shawn Combes, he was a twisted and depraved person with a hunger for power and being a tyrant. He deleted congress and the consitution, and divided the United States into 13 districts, as well as renaming it to PANEM. A revolt was staged by people disgusted by his actions, the revolt was then crushed and Shawn Combes created a twisted game in which 2 children who were too young to live by themselves, a boy and a girl, were forced to fight to the death for everyone to see as a reminder not to revolt against him. America has become a horrible place, will everyone vanquish the horrid treachery of Shawn Combes?

Brother turned on brother until nothing remained. And then came the peace, hard fought, sorely won. A people rose up from the ashes and a new era was born. But freedom has a cost. When the traitors were defeated, we swore as a nation we would never know this treason again. And so it was decreed that, each year, the various districts of Panem would offer up, in tribute, one young man and woman to fight to the death in a pageant of honor, courage and sacrifice. The lone victor, bathed in riches, would serve as a reminder of our generosity and our forgiveness. This is how we remember our past. This is how we safeguard our future. This year 24 new tributes have been reaped, all with one objective, survive. But who will win? So this is just a dumb fanfic I wrote about my friends at college, its not meant to be taken seriously and I'm only putting it here so that my friends can have access to is as I write it.
