Cole and Jay's fairytale romance
(After the events of season 13 and I repeat not a bruise ship they are just both really good friends) The ninja decided they wanted to explore Ninjago a bit before returning home. During their travels they come across a island that was something out of a fairytale. Cole likes it because maybe that means he can finally find a way to get Kai to be his boyfriend. Princess Vania had given him flirting advice, but none of it seemed to work. Cole knew Kai was bi and just really hoped he could find a way to get Kai to feel the same way he did. Jay liked the place okay because he saw it as the perfect opportunity to make it up to Nya after the whole munce queen issue. Sadly though the peaceful fairytale like land suddenly becomes very dangerous when a evil fairytale creature kidnaps the two siblings and it's mostly up to Cole and Jay to rescue them. After all seemed lost for the team, they split. No amount of brotherhood could keep them together, not without Zane in the mix. That was, until Lloyd decided to get the team back together. He tricked all three into meeting him at one of their favorite restaurants to talk to them about something. Though it didn't exactly go as planned. Thugs entered and the team decided to help defend the Chinese/Korean fusion restaurant. Following the thugs out the back door, they were met with a note telling them there was a tournament of elements, and that the member they'd lost, was alive. Zane was alive.

After a devastating event in the middle of the Time Twins arc, Kai finds himself mysteriously transported back to the beginning of Ninjago's timeline - waking in the wilderness with two young dragons, Ash and Surf, who share a soul-deep bond with him but don't recall their origins. With memories up to the Skybound arc (even though he is from the Twins of Time arc, but he doesn't remember), but no clue how he got back, Kai must walk the line between changing fate and preserving the timeline.
