Andrea's guilty pleasure is reading all the cliché romance novels out there. She hates them because she knows they aren't true. She loves them because they give her hope.
She believes that the protagonist in all those nerdy stories represent her. Smart, shy and beauty behind the spectacles. After her mom buys contact lenses for her, she decides that she needs to try out the real version of those stories.
To explore and debunk the possibilities of all the types associated with the nerd she plans to date each type for two months. After much contemplation and survey of the books she plans to date the Class Cartoon, the Bad Boy, the Football Captain and the Best-friend. Having the faith that she won't have to do the last one, she starts on this journey

Anyways, Charlotte switched schools because her family had to move, so now she is known as the new girl, same goes for Charlie, the new guy. Charlotte meets this really nice guy, Nate. Nate has this best friend who is the biggest jerk in school, school's player, bad boy, Aiden Throns. Nate tells Aiden that he really likes Charlotte. Aiden and Nate are like brothers, I mean, Nate was adopted by Aiden's parents, so Aiden cares about him, like he is his biological brother. Aiden thinks that Charlotte is using Nate for his brain, because Nate is a super smart guy, knowing Charlotte, she had a brain tumor, so she isn't the brightest/smartest.
