Blood Roots - Bound to the Bayou
Mound Bayou infamous Sheriff Grant wasn't too keen on asking three untrained supernatural 16-year-olds to help save their town. Despite their unique abilities, the young heroes didn't answer his request with a "Yes Sheriff, it's our duty!", like one would think. And how could they? The three were busy untangling the tight lipped secrets and lies they had been told all their lives; combined with the pressures of school, dating, friends and covert rivals, kept them pretty busy. Shouldn't the Sheriff's 20+ years of experience fighting supernatural beings make him more than qualified in keeping the town safe? Most would agree with that statement, but this new enemy was different. This new opponent wasn't just faster or stronger, Sheriff Grant has been tangling with the best of the best since he was a rookie on the police force. So, while our young heroes and the sheriff were busy battling it out with the Towns Torturer and his crew. Unbeknownst to them a new foe had been hiding in the shadows, studying the sheriff, the townsfolk, and any potential threats that could hinder a hostile takeover. Developing a meticulous and methodical plan to seize the town's best kept secret, The Bayou. "What if I don't want to be a hero, save your damn selves!" - Jachobrin What the Author hopes? When Worlds Collide
Most everyone has come into contact with a work of fiction at some point in their lives, whether it be reading a silly cartoon as a five-year-old in a kindergarten class or a high school teenager watching a movie: you've come into contact with a fictional world. Maybe it was a book of some sort, maybe it was a tv show, or maybe even a movie. It might sound cliche, but each of these is a gateway into another world. Literally. When you turn on your tv to watch some MCU movie like something in the Avengers franchise, cracking open a Harry Potter book, or tuning in to watch your favorite tv show, say Supernatural, you are literally watching or reading about other people's lives. The MCU is literally a universe created by Marvel movies. Harry Potter literally is it's own world with witches and wizards. The world in Supernatural has actually been saved about 20 times by the Winchester brothers. It sounds insane, I realize, but I promise you it's true. I have spoken face-to-face with so many people I once saw as nothing more than characters in a tv show or a book. I have actually talked to Harry Potter with green eyes like his mother Lily (not like the blue-eyed movie version). I shook hands with the Doctor and Rose Tyler (David Tennant's Doctor. Or, that's what he is in our world). I suppose here is where I say the world ended on July 6, 2013, but that's not really what happened. It happened a week later. The 13th. It would've fit way better if it was a Friday, but it was the next best thing: Saturday. July 13, 2013. I suppose that's when the world ended. Or at least, the world as I knew it anyway.Concluida

He woke up in an unfamiliar place, all he remembered from the day before as he was about to fall asleep was that he was reading a book "The Birth of a Hero". Cale thought while looking towards the ceiling. «It's not like I miss my old life.» There really wasn't much. In addition to being an orphan and penniless, he also developed anemia during his teenage years due to poor nutrition. --- Cale thought about his so-called plans while slowly closing his eyes in satisfaction. The Indestructible Shield. Cale thought of this first formless force that he was going to acquire. As he was organizing his plans, he suddenly opened his eyes and a severe headache overwhelmed him. In his panic he got up from his chair but his vision was blurred. He quickly tried to hold on to the desk with one hand, the other being on his head, although he did so, he still ended up passing out. He tried to move his body away from the desk so as not to hurt himself but too late his left side hit the corner of the desk violently. «It's definitely going to leave marks...» He thought before losing consciousness. ---- English is not my mother tongue, this story may contain errors.Concluida
