Scarred Knuckles, Silent Vows

                   ✒️ Author: Snowfrost

Some flames burn quietly. Others never stop burning at all.

Some love never shouts. It bleeds quietly, for a lifetime.

Synopsis:

Five years ago, rising boxing prodigy Riku Hayama lost everything in one night-his career, his family, and the boy he loved.

A single underground match, rigged behind closed doors, destroyed his future and marked him as a disgrace. Branded a drug user and banned from the ring, Riku was left broken and abandoned. The only person he ever trusted, Kaito, vanished without a trace, leaving behind silence where there should have been answers.

Now, Riku lives in the aftermath-scarred, guarded, and burning with questions that never found closure. But when fate brings him face-to-face with Kaito again, working quietly behind the counter of a dimly lit bar, the buried embers ignite.

Kaito has secrets etched into his soul-secrets about the match, about the betrayal, and about why he chose to disappear instead of fight for Riku. Haunted by guilt and trapped in the shadows of his Yakuza lineage, Kaito has spent five years watching Riku from afar, protecting him from dangers he could never reveal.

But Riku wants the truth. All of it. Even if it cuts deeper than the lies ever did.

As past and present collide, old wounds resurface with brutal clarity. Between rain-soaked streets, stolen glances, and hearts that still remember how to beat in sync, Riku and Kaito must face the reality of what they lost-and what they might still find.

"Scarred Knuckles, Silent Vows" is a slow-burn, second-chance queer romance drenched in secrets, longing, and redemption. A story of two boys torn apart by betrayal, stitched together by love, and forced to decide: Is truth the end of them-or the only way back?
