This is the first story under the series DIFFERENT SHADES OF ME this is the shade where I had once melted in his embrace,I had fallen in love and I had looked at him as if my home resides in him
This is the shade where we both made unexplainable waves and saw only ourselves in our lives
We were unstoppable our thirst for each other driven by absolute madness
The crave for each other's presence was dangerous
Our absence even more dangerous

"Mommy?" I looked up from her arms and into her smile. "Yes, my little light?" She replied back, with a curious grin. Nothing but love, gentleness, and kind warmth on her sweet face. Six year old me stared into her glistening eyes. Eyes that could melt glaciers. Those eyes. "What is it my love?" She questioned again with an angelic smile. That damn smile. The sudden breeze pushed the windows to slam open against the walls, as the curtains flew up and the rose candle was blown out. The night crept in, invading my bedroom. My mother gasped with a frightened jump and called out my name. Frantically, she flipped the bedside lamp on when she heard no reply. Panic washed over her face as she kneeled beside her sweet little girl, now covered in a blood stained night gown, black eye and bloody lip. "Why did you let him hurt me, mommy?" My mother gasped and fell back onto her hands. Terrified, she stood and with no hesitation, made a dash for the door, leaving her baby girl in the dark corner. Her panicked attempt to leave the room came to a complete stop as she came to face the full length mirror. She stared back in horror, only it wasn't her looking back at her reflection. It was me -Kali emerges from her past that has left every piece of her in ruins. Her life was left shattered into a million pieces. With intentions of starting a new life, she feels like her past will never let her go. When starting over doesn't promise a new start, Kali's life is thrusted in and out of place.

*****COMPLETE-- Book three in the Wild Magic Series. Sequel to By the Light of the Moon and The Dark of the Sun, but can be read as a stand-alone. The Shade of the Earth is a M/M, May/December, gay-for-you romance with fated mates, knotting, and a bobcat shifter with a small stature and big spunk.***** Robert has been surrounded by men attracted and romantically involved with other men for most of his life. He accepts his friends, defends them, loves them... but has never really understood them and their attraction to other men. Now, a diminutive bobcat shifter, with all the spunk of his feline counterparts, nameless and without a family or home, has claimed him as his mate, refuses to leave his side, and somehow forces him to see sex and attraction in a whole new light. But just as things are beginning to fall into place for Robert and his Sami, will they have everything ripped away by a dark figure from Robert's past? ************************************************ "I'm confused, Sami. This is... a lot. I've never been attracted to a man. I like women- I don't like men! Please understand, all of this is a lot for me." "I'm not men," the shifter whispered, a single tear dripping across his temple and back into his curly, ragged hair. "I'm your Sami." The words had the breath in my lungs freezing painfully. I stared down into his simple, open face, and had a sudden, near-violent realization. Sami ran on pure, feral instinct. This didn't make him stupid, it didn't make him simple of mind. It made his desires and thought process easy and pure. He wanted me, I was denying him. He couldn't understand any other reason for me to do this other than his own inadequacies. He didn't understand the laws of attraction as humans saw them. He saw only that I was his mate. And I was denying him.

WARNING ⚠️ THIS BOOK CONTAINS MATURE THEMES "You like this, don't you?" His voice was dark velvet, wrapping around me, sinking under my skin. I swallowed hard, refusing to answer, but my body betrayed me-the sharp inhale, the way my lips parted, the way my thighs pressed together. He noticed. Of course, he did. He stepped closer, eliminating the space between us, his heat overwhelming. "Say it." I shook my head, a weak attempt at resistance. His fingers traced up my arm, slow, teasing, until they reached my throat. He didn't squeeze, didn't apply pressure-just let his touch linger there, making me hyperaware of my own racing pulse. "Liar," he murmured. I exhaled sharply. "You're too close." His lips brushed my ear, not quite a kiss, just a whisper of warmth. "And you're not stopping me."
