In Zaun's tech university, the reader a nursing student unexpectedly finds themselves in the orbit of Sevika, a brooding, steel-eyed professor teaching Advanced Tech & Ethics. What starts as academic indifference spirals into obsession, tension, and unspoken longing. Sevika is all sharp edges and distance, but the moment their eyes meet, something shifts. The reader becomes haunted by her gaze, her voice, her silence. A slow-burn dynamic unfolds through classroom tension, missed glances, accidental touches, and late-night office hours. When the reader sees Sevika outside of class-alone, worn, and silent-it only deepens the desire. Their world narrows until it's only her. After a terrifying moment at a party and Sevika's unexpected reappearance, boundaries crumble. One kiss turns to silence. Silence turns to agony. And finally, they break-first in Sevika's office, then in her home. Despite the rules, despite the guilt, Sevika admits the truth: she wants the reader. And the moment that truth is spoken aloud, restraint becomes impossible.
