Ever since the death of his mother, Nicolas Starwood's life has felt like the physical embodiment of loneliness itself. With his father abandoning him, and his best friend moving to Seattle, Nicolas' hope for the future has slowly begun fading away like a dying candle.
But when a hurt and lonely Nicolas takes a trip to the old, abandoned home nicknamed the Crowhouse, he doesn't expect to cross an unseen line between reality and fantasy, soon finding himself trapped in a world much like his own. A parallel version of Earth crawling with supernatural beings, and strange, unnatural phenomena.

But after coming across a dark truth about the creatures of this strange world, Nicolas decides to take on the forces of evil themselves; even if that means throwing himself into dangerous, life-threatening situations to destroy them. And as it turns out, he isn't the only one out for war: The supernatural have a mission of their own, and Nicolas is their target.

As he questions why these monsters would be after him, Nicolas attempts to unravel the mysteries of this strange, alternate world he's found himself in, and the all too familiar people who inhabit it.
A world of horror and monsters, magic and darkness, and maybe...
