NCAA University SERIES 1

Klyra was an Accountancy student from San Beda University Manila. She was also a writer and was recently assigned to cover a sports feature. She attended the NCAA Sportsfest with her friends and co-writer. That's where she met Lucas - a well-known Architecture student from La Salle-Saint Benilde. He was smart, talented, and party boy.

They came from different schools and had different dreams, but something about that one meeting pulled them together. She lived in numbers and deadlines, he lived in sketches and stories. They didn't expect it, but they clicked.

As they started getting close, things got more complicated - school pressure, personal goals, and the fact that they lived in completely different worlds. The question is... can two people chasing big dreams find time for something real?

PEARL OF THE ORIENT #2 Most people believe that a dream is the opposite of reality. For instance, you dream of falling dollars like it's raining pitchforks out there or almost drowning in a heap of chocolate syrup; definitely not gonna happen in real life unless someone rich drops his atachi case of money from the top of a skyscraper or terrorists bombarded a chocolate factory as sure as death and taxes. But it wasn't as sweet as chocolate when Almira and Pharell met on both endpoints of Colon Street- a historical street in downtown Cebu City; the oldest and shortest national road in the Philippines inasmuch as their aeonian eyes met that day and the night they closed it before sleep, strange dreams about two lovers whom they did not know began haunting and hunting on their shut-eye. Can dreams be defined as dreams when Almira, a girl diagnosed with KLS also known as Sleeping Beauty Syndrome and the feeling of unreality and hallucinations was part of her illness? And the guy named Pharell, a person with REM sleep behavior, a disorder that let him physically act out his vivid nightmares. Even if finding the answer will lead to danger, they're ready to know everything whether it is really a mystery or only a part of their illnesses.
