A story of a 26 yr old Jaxon who tragically lost his family and dumped by his high school sweetheart ,bury himself in his land,animals and being the town handy man but what happens when he sets his eyes on the his auntie (Clara walker) friend's niece, whom makes his heart skip serval beats.

25 yr old Brielle, moves down south in georgia after clara who was like an aunt to her passes away.after a heartbreak and currently going through money issues and self healing and uplifting herself, she finds herself falling for Mr.handyman after a few occasions and blooming into a new person, day by day.

"You don't look at me like I'm yours.

"You look at me like l'm a choice you regret making."

"That's not true," he said, louder now, voice cracking.

She crossed her arms tight, holding herself together.
"I gave up everything for this. For you. I could've had a corner office, an apartment with views, silence that didn't hurt." Her voice broke.

"But I chose this place. I chose you. And the second I made you uncomfortable, you threw the city in my face like it was some kind of character flaw."

He didn't say anything for a long moment. Just stood there, rain dripping from the brim of his hat, guilt thick on his face.

Then quietly "I don't know how to love someone the right way yet. I ain't never had to."

"That's not my problem," she whispered.

He nodded slowly "I know"
