"The whole point of being a teenager is doing crazy and reckless stuff!" "Not stuff that can you killed though." Cass has a normal life, normal family, normal friends. Her parents take her to church on Sundays and she sneaks out to parties on weekends, what's not to be happy about? After Cass makes a terrfiying decision to tell her family a deep secret her life takes a turn for the worst. She heads on a downwards spiral and her normal life becomes almost nightmarish. Living on her own Cass has to make decisions by herself. New and old friends make her distorted life even worse. And to top it all off she meets someone who makes her go against everything she has ever known.
