In a time long gone, everything was perfect. There were three species that ruled the world: Elves, Gods, and Humans. They lived in a perfectly balanced world for thousands of years until an unfortunate turn of events caused the elves to be banished to the trees, the gods to the skies, and the humans to the grounds. Inevitably, the two greater powers began a cataclysmic war.

Today, thousands of years later, is when things start to take an unexpected turn.

Victoria Fugo is an orphan. Her parents abandoned her at a rundown orphanage as a newborn, and she has never known any love except for that given by her stingy caretaker, which is next to none. She has a single friend, and spends most of her time reading fairy tales and daydreaming.

Cerritulus is the odd elf out. Donned in colorful shorts and kimonos with weird patterns, she's an outcast of all sorts, considered strange even by her own parents. Her total obsession with myths and history unsettles even the most hardened treasure hunters.

Certus is a teenage heartthrob. He's intelligent, gorgeous, athletic, and humble. While all of the other elves, male and female, throw themselves at him, he brushes them off and prefers to disappear into the background with a book.

Tom is Victoria's only friend. Her mischievous, attractive, extremely intelligent friend. His strong skill is coming up with elaborate schemes and flirting with every person who ever passes through the orphanage.

When these four are strung together and get tangled up in a myth as old as time, they soon discover that there is much more to old legends than just a few elves and a prophecy.

But in order for it to have been destroyed, Lucy forced Natsu to let go of her over the cliff, falling to her death. But...wait. When Loren approaches a devastated Natsu she says that the one responsible for their mind control was a man long forgotten, who's true purpose was to get his one and only true prize: Lucy. And, Loren tells Natsu and the others they can rescue her, but they have to go to the place where shadows lie; the Black Stars. {Used from my previous story, Fairy Tail: The Luminous Star of Caballeen!} There, Lucy is trapped, being held as a trophy by the man and frozen in time. If Loren and Lores open the portal, they can go inside and save her. However, there is a catch; only one person can go inside. And, as soon as they enter the Black Stars, they would be overrun with Shadow monsters; hundreds of them all over the place. The man who has Lucy has control of the Black Stars, and would send the pursuer into different realms to battle different monsters. But Natsu doesn't care. He'd do anything to get Lucy back, and to save her from being trapped all alone forever. Book 1 of The Shadow Series. Myths, that's what the humans called it, but for Ashe it quickly became her reality. Her life changing transformation narrowed her paths down to two; She could either embrace her fates and save the people she's grown to love, or she can walk away and live a somewhat normal life while others suffer the consequences. How far is she willing to go to create peace where there's never been any? Will she even create peace? Or will she help encourage the most brutal war the Shadow Realms have ever experienced? Several years of Asheland's childhood had disappeared from her memory. She assumed it was her brain trying to protect her from a traumatic event, although that's true it's not exactly what she expected and her brain wasn't necessarily the cause. After being homeless until she was sixteen years old, then living in a boat dock for four years, she had finally found her home in a cottage in the near-by mountains of Wolf Creek. Everything seemed to be going well. However, as a list of secrets begin unraveling when Ashe gives in to her overwhelming urges to visit the island that terrified almost every citizen in Wolf Creek, her life becomes more complicated than she could've ever imagined. All of this just because she was turning twenty-one. Nothing was as it had ever seemed. * excerpt from the book * { "Why do you make such reckless, impulsive decisions?" The old man asked as we watched the moon. "The world could end tomorrow and everyone expects me to live in fear today? There's no life to live inside the box of fear, there's no freedom in there," I replied softly. }

Once upon a time, Xadia was a unified land, filled with wonder and magic. At the dawn of time, there were six primary sources of magic, the sun, moon, stars, earth, sky and ocean. But a thousand years ago, a magician from a human tribe discovered a new power, the seventh source, black magic. It uses the essence of all magical creatures to awaken the forces of evil. Terrified by this sight, dragons and elves decided to put an end to the madness. Human mages, however, did not want to give up, and stood up to fight against the elves and dragons. The human mages using unimaginable black magic began to win. But then on the side of the elves and dragons stood the Flenimu, born from the union of human and elf. With their help, they managed to drive the humans westward. Then the continent was divided into two parts, Xadia or the eastern magical land and the western kingdoms of humans. For centuries the border was guarded by the dragon king himself. the people called him Thunder, because his voice made the earth and sky tremble. But before the day of the last coming of winter, people exterminated Grom, and then without a shadow of mercy destroyed his only egg, his successor, the dragon prince. The world then stood on the brink of an all-out war. English is not my language so I apologize for any mistakes :) I own the copyright only to what I have come up with myself. I am writing this after the premiere of season 3 but before the premiere of season 4.

❅| "Even a vastness can no longer shelter you... or engulf your dream." ⊱⋅ ──────────── ⋅⊰ [UNDER EDITING/REDRAFTING - latest chapter: 7] To a world seemingly shrouded in a cloak of safety and eternal peace, death is an unimaginable concept. Yet for those whose rule of life was mere survival, perhaps that's a different situation. For those who stood in the face of adversity, for those who refused to give in to the castigation of their lives, life has no sweetness to it. Merely the bitter tang of a blood-chilling revenge. To avenge a loved one or perhaps even their own pain, the murderous intent behind their deceitful eyes is unmistakable. For to them, lamenting about the past is a life lost to the cruel hands of fate. What happens when a woman as brilliant as the morning sun provides a haven in one's dreams? What happens when she, despite the agonies life carried, says to abandon everything right here and now and leave? Alcestis did not need to be told twice. Seizing the chance to escape the horrible clutches of her grandparents, she sets out on a journey to find the Elementals - a band of heroes protecting the human realm from those that lied beyond, headed by her parents. She knew of the darkness that festered within her; she knew of the hatred that danced in her heart. More than anything, she knew the extents of how fragmented her soul was. What, perhaps, would unfold when she sets out on her journey, leaving behind the world she knew; leaving behind what hopefulness remained in her battered heart? None would heed her an answer, indeed. None save for the rage that tainted her being.
