Surviving Addarah

Two countries, Two families, rivaling each other since the start of time.
One burns with heat, spiritual powers from his bloodline coursing in his veins, a deep rage boiling inside. The desert-dweller must reach the furthest corner of his land, where growing cold froze the mountains, to perform the ritual to ascend to the throne. The cocky royal falls victim to a hungry saber-tooth tiger, barely managing to escape as his servants fought the beast. It was enemy scouts that found and brought the prince back from the brink of death, only to be taken prisoner and ushered to the King like a prize or pet.
The other runs cold, his heirloom abilities unique to his royal family line, a cold malice brewing. The 'King', a puppet of his people, no more than a glorified prisoner within his own stone walls. Struggling to overcome the influence his father's family had over his reign, the 'King' demands to be given rightful control of the kingdom.
He is given a 'final' test, to procure the right information for a successful invasion from the foreign prisoner sealed in his personal prison.
