when song haneul's father receives a big job offer in seoul, their family is suddenly forced to move across the country from jeju island. alongside her younger brother, woonhak, haneul is enrolled in daewon high school and must learn how to adjust to the local culture before attracting any unwanted attention.

unfortunately, haneul immediately becomes the talk of the school, gaining both fast friends and fast enemies. soon, she finds herself entangled with daewon's notorious troublemaker, han taesan, who happens to be running one of seoul's most dangerous school gangs.
