Being ruthless is not as easy as it seems. But that's what Asher has to be. What he needs to be. After his father was executed for treason, he promised to avenge him. By following his uncle Randyll, they will lead a group that will bring the castle down, begging on their feet. The plan wasn't ideal nor fair to Asher. He's to be married with one of the twin princess to disguise truce to let the castle lay their guard down. They had planned this for three years and they just have to wait for one particular date to attack. The date of the reason why the group was even established by Asher's father and his uncle. The date where a precious life had drown in the darkness of the evil king. But the princess might just ruin everything. Like how her father did with the kingdom. Asher will forever hate her. His own wife. He will do anything to keep the plan a secret. He just need to put on his ruthless mask every he is around her. Which is every morning, noon and night. Although, its not easy to do that when the someone you pretend to hate is actually the only person who treats you like a human being. The presence of Elara in his life changed everything.
