Long ago, during Scandinavian times, two princes of a powerful Nordic bloodline swore an ancient pact to guard the balance between land and sea. When Norway and Iceland-centuries later accidentally unearth a long-buried relic during a winter solstice ritual, the pact is reawakened. But this time, the magic doesn't recognize them as separate entities-it sees a breach of trust between soulbound heirs.
As the curse unfolds, a magical frost takes root in Iceland's core, tethering his life force to a promise that was never fulfilled. Norway, desperate to save him, must take on the role of a "guardian spirit," which comes with intense emotional and magical burdens. Their bond becomes a conduit for healing the rift between elemental spirits of fire (volcanic Iceland) and ice (glacial Norway). Along the way, they uncover long-lost Norse runes, face off with ancient spirits, and are forced to reckon with their family history that goes far deeper than either imagined.
