Gale, a wizard from a videogame, crashes into the real world, meeting Eldeth, who has magical abilities she is yet unaware of. As their bond grows platonically and intimately, Gale and Eldeth must work through multiple issues from his Netherese orb and understanding how he ended up in her world, to getting him back home and ultimately her choosing familiarity and comfort or her connection with the Wizard himself and leaving everything she knows behind.
