Ivory has never relied on anybody. Anything. Not even her own mother. The same mother who forced her into a life she didn't deserve.

Trouble especially finds Ivory when she finds out she's the bastard child of the Italian Mafia Don. And when she meets him and his family; his wife and 5 sons - she realizes that her life is no longer hers to control. And she hates that.

It gets no better when her knight in shining armor is truly the Devil in sheep's clothing. Satan himself, if you will.

Moving to a new country, a new household, with a new family - gaining new friends, losing old ones - how will she cope? Especially when stormy eyes follow her everywhere. That's not what scares her. What does scare her is that he watches, not with the same disdain towards everybody else, but with interest and wonder towards her, and her alone.

You know what they all say. Curiosity kills the cat.
