Calla Rex is a 29 year old serial killer. The good kind. Targeting men who drug unsuspecting victims in a bar/club to have their way with them.
Calla isn't motivated by her own past experiences but rather because she suspected someone was drugged but didn't do anything about it. Only to find out that person is dead the next morning. She is driven by guilt.
Calla has no romantic relationships. She's mostly introverted but extroverted when she's on the hunt. She adopts an alternate persona when on the hunt.

She owns two bars, but the employees never met her or have seen her. Lately she's been having thoughts of a family of her own. A child. For someone to love of her own and who loves her back she'd do anything. She'll resort to bar hopping in search of the perfect man to father her child in a one night stand.

Introducing Ronan Creed, a former bodyguard for a famous singer turned hitman for hire. He's rugged and muscular. Hard to miss. It was in the Calla's bar that she found him. Choosing him.
Ronan has trust issues and can spot someone being untruthful. Despite Calla's obvious lies about her identity, Ronan falls in her trap. For a weekend. Ronan develops an obsession afterwards and follows Calla when she sneaks out of his hotel room. He clocks her address and finds out her real identity. He watches her for 2 months. In those months he gets suspicious about her extracurricular activities but can't get proof of his suspicions. Until one day he notices her making an appointment at the doctor. That's when he decides to reintroduce himself into her life.
