This is a real-life experience involving my friend, Juliet, who sadly passed away five years ago.
What makes it even more surreal is that I had no idea she was gone until last Christmas. All these years, we had continued communicating on WhatsApp; or so I thought. I had no reason to suspect anything was wrong.
It wasn't until that Christmas that I discovered the heartbreaking truth: Juliet had passed on, and I had been unaware all this time.
