A Reylo (Kylo Ren + Rey) remake, at the start of the Last Jedi. It will follow canon, up to the point of the Last Jedi. It's rewritten, but better. With a similar plot, but not the exact same. It's dark romance at the beginning, but Kylo eventually warms up to Rey. Rey is STILL a strong and independant woman, and she totally matches to Kylo's energy. She's not going to be the typical submissive type, not willingly.
Rey is tought the Jedi's ways by Luke Skywalker, while Finn is tought by sick Leia in a rather unorthodox way. Through unfornate ways, they are forced to meet Kylo Ren, the malicious evil-doer.

I normally write about the Captain Swan ship or dabble in a little Harry Potter, I've thought about this before, and now have some inspiration. After watching The Force Awakens, I thought Kylo Ren and Rey would either end up being related or it would be a star-crossed lovers kind of thing. After watching The Last Jedi I can definitely see things going in a romantic direction with them. Let's face it, is it really a relationship if you haven't tried to kill each other at least once? After all, Emma held a knife to Hook's throat and tied him to a tree, and then there was a sword fight and she knocked him out. When Ben Solo turns his back on the First Order, aiding the Resistance in a crucial battle taking place at least a year after the events of The Last Jedi, he is sentenced to be exiled, and with him, Rey, with whom he shares a powerful Force Bond. He is being condemned for the crimes he committed against the galaxy when he called himself Kylo Ren; Rey is going with him because she was the one to defend him in his trial. Together, they are sent to a remote forest/mountain planet for five years with minimal contact from friends/family at the end of each year. During their exile, Rey and Ben will learn many things, not just about each other, but also about the true nature of the Force, and of themselves. And maybe, they will discover that something even deeper and more powerful than a Force Bond is keeping them together (no, they are not related).Complete
