As Adrien walked down the hallway, he was startled by the sound of a baby crying. The cries seemed to be coming from the baby's room, and Adrien felt a surge of concern. He didn't want to wake Regina, so he decided to check on the baby himself. When he entered the room, he was surprised to see the baby sleeping peacefully. The cries had stopped, and there was an unsettling silence. Adrien took a few steps back, and to his amazement, the cries started again. He went back to the room, and the baby was quiet once more. This strange phenomenon happened several times, leaving Adrien feeling increasingly uneasy. He was convinced that something supernatural was at play. On the fourth occurrence, he spoke out loud, despite the baby being asleep. "I don't know what's going on, but it's not funny." To his horror, the baby suddenly sat up and looked at him with dark, adult-like eyes. In a deep, menacing voice, the baby said, "YOU WELCOMED REGINA AND I TO YOUR HOME! BE READY TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCE ." Adrien was paralyzed with fear. He turned and ran, not stopping until he reached Regina's room. He knocked frantically on the door, his heart pounding in his chest. Regina answered, groggy from being woken up so late. "What's wrong?" she asked, her voice tinged with irritation. Adrien's words tumbled out in a rush. "The baby, he's not normal. I saw him in his room, and he spoke in a deep, menacing voice. He's not a normal baby, Regina. I'm not hallucinating this time, I'm sure of it." Regina's expression changed from annoyance to amusement. "You need to get some sleep, Adrien. You're surely hallucinating. My brother is perfectly normal. In fact, he's been sleeping in my room tonight because he had a fever. Whoever you saw wasn't my brother." ....... Roommates

Dean's about to start medical school and he has been assigned a dorm room. With a roommate. As he and Sam head up to his new room he gets an ominous warning from the guy down the hall about Dean's new roommate. It unnerves Sam, but Dean thinks the guy can't be that bad. Right? Dean and Sam grew up happy with BOTH parents in this one. I thought about how to approach this one for quite a while before I actually started writing it. I thought, how can I get this to make sense? Why would a roommate run away? And then this came to me. So, for those of you that don't know, I based a lot of Cas' personality, quirks, and traits on myself since I have Asperger's. While I don't color coordinate my shirts in the closet, they DO have to all face the same direction, and I have more sensory issues than I'll bore you with here. I mention Dean's sensory issues as well here. While he doesn't show actual traits of Asperger's, he's on the spectrum too, and people on the spectrum still have related issues. The bluntness of Cas' questions are something that I did more often when I was younger, and a reason why people singled me out as weird or a freak. I had great difficulty distinguishing between when people were joking and making fun of me (therefore people thought I was stupid, and I was called as much, despite my higher IQ), so I tended to keep to myself. I still have difficulty initiating conversations, and my reaction to going into places like the party that will be mentioned here is much the same as I made Cas react. Parallels, as you'll notice.
