There's a small town deep within the heart of Texas. You'd never find it if you weren't lookin' for it. Hell, even if you were lookin', livin' there's a bad idea. Probably the worst idea you could have, 'specially if yo' skin wasn't the color of the paper you write on. No one darker than milk ever lasted long in Perdition. Lot of 'em ended up as lawn decorations. If only they'd held out a little bit longer, my peoples could've saved 'em. Done to them what they done to us. They deserved it. All of 'em did. Well, maybe not all. But, most of 'em. I'd like to think we saved the town. Blood spilled, yes. But, none of that blood was pure. Klansman, all of 'em. No one'll miss 'em. We sure as hell won't. Who's we? I guess it's 'bout time you gets to know us, huh?

[ A BEYNIKA STORY ] [SLOW UPDATES] They went to the one witch whose only aim is to destroy me, to bury me and every reminder of me alive. Cursed to the future, due to me knowing my worth, to me not tolerating any disrespect thrown my way. Some call it arrogance and cockiness, I called it empowerment. I was stripped away from my power, my ranks, and my immortality and sent down this land of humans they called Earth. They came together to end me, not knowing where they sent me. Not knowing that from the washed away sandcastles, I'd get to water my seeds and watch them grow through her lenses. I waged wars but she came in and showed me peace. To them, only a mortal she is, one who pictures every memory through her lenses. To me, she was a blessing in disguise, she traded my broken heart for hers, she saw my scars and kissed my crimes. After all, her cursed beauty I was. | DISCLAIMER: All the events and characters taking place in this work of fiction are completely fictional and from my imagination.
