In the northern parts of China is a small village, where rumours about a strange, dangerous creature are spread. It's said that the creature, known as MonstA, lives deep within the forbidden forest that surrounds the village.
16 year old Mei decides to venture into the forest to find this MonstA, but isn't aware of what lurks within the darkness. The forest is full of mysteries and dark secrets. Is Mei prepared to face some of her biggest fears? It's a tricky task. She must be brave and fight if she wants to find MonstA.

The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different.
