For years Enyoans were told to make your presence known otherwise you'll perish without being remembered, but what's the use in being remembered if everyone will perish anyway? It has been eight years since Mirage's rule over Enyoa started, and it is in her best interest to do her yearly competition a little differently as the eighth anniversary should be celebrated in such a way that no one will forget.
Eight contestants are thrown out into the world with only eight hundred dollars and a will to stay alive as they're being hunted by highly trained individuals that know anything and everything. While surviving both the deadly disease going around and the high stakes, what motivates one more? The prize money, or the fact that their life is on the line? Do with it what you will, but while strategies were made and plans have been set, there's no guarantee that Mirage won't play fair. After all, what can anyone do? Enyoans are just ants waiting to be crushed by the higher beings.
