Let It Consume You
Give yourself time to feel your emotions But don't let them control you Let it consume you But not forever. There are moments in life when you have to let yourself feel, the pain the trauma, the depression the anxiety. There are also moments you have to force yourself out of the darkness, before it fully consumes you. These poems are the moments, when I stewed in my sadness, gave it the steering wheel. The happiness of being in love; the pain of not being able to move on. While most of these are about love, some of these poems discovers the complicated human emotions like sadness, melancholy, emptiness, etc. I hope that whoever who reads these poems would find it worth their time.
