Seconds later, someone unlocked the door and Janine came face to face with a familiar face.
“Oh my god,” she whispered.
He stared at her blankly, “Jeez, what now? Came again to apologize? Don’t worry I’m not pressing charges after you hit me with your car.” He scoffed.
Janine frowned at him. “I’m not apologizing, I was done with you. Who are you anyway and what are you doing here? Are you an assistant or something? I have the mind to tell your boss what you did to me today.”
He raised an eyebrow at her, “Lady, you ask a lot of fucking questions. What are you doing here anyway if you didn’t come by to apologize?”
Janine rocked back at her heels and smiled, “I’m looking for Doctor Scott, I’m his new receptionist.” He looked at her for a very long time and sighed.
“Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Doctor Patrick Scott.”
