Briar felt her world crumbling as her father was offered a job in the States, promising double the salary and benefits that would greatly help the family. But none of that changed the fact that Briar would be leaving her life in London behind-her friends, family, and all the memories. Briar was the typical teacher's pet-never had a detention, always turned in homework on time, and never talked back. But that didn't win her any popularity in high school, and now, she dreaded making new friends at a new school. Arden was the complete opposite-having dropped out of high school years ago, she had terrible attendance, was always late, and did sloppy work despite being fairly smart. She never put in the effort and was constantly causing trouble. If she hadn't left on her own, she likely would've been expelled. When their paths cross at a party one night, Briar, who's never had a drop of alcohol or met anyone as reckless as Arden, finds herself thrown into a world she's never known. Arden, with her wild, self-centered attitude, challenges everything Briar thought she knew about life, leaving her conflicted and unsure of what to do next.
